FAQ

Q. I see that you’ve opened at the old NASCAR Speedpark location in Hazelwood, MO. I had fun there before, but the malls not the same, what should I expect?

A: The real honest answer is… So much more fun than you ever had there before!! We’ve rebuilt everything, new updates on the Mini-Golf course, New Bumper Boats back in the pool, a few arcade games in the center building but most of all it’s the karts. The glorious new high-speed Karts, you’ll go faster than you ever dreamed of on the beautiful existing kart tracks that were always built for speed.

Q: What are your hours?

A: Our Summer hours are Sunday thru Thursday 12-9, Saturday Friday 12-10 and Saturday 10-10.

Q: Do I have to bring my own Kart?

A: No, RWKC provides all the karts. We run Bowman Jr. and Adult karts on our St. Louis Gran Prix track, these quick little karts allow us to race with different family members on the challenging twists and turns of this racetrack. These karts are powered by 6.5 HP Honda motors and the power to weight ratio is perfect for this kart track. At Talladega Light we run our state-of-the art Sodi RT8’s, powered by 9HP Honda’s these karts combined with our HUGE Talladega Light racetrack will leave you amazed by the fun you’ll have in these karts on this track.

Q: I’ve done indoor karting, in electric karts. What is the difference between electric and gas-powered karts?

A: It’s the difference between being inside on a confined course, and being outside on a big fast racetrack. It’s a real race inspired Honda engine or an electric motor made to sound like one. We don’t pipe in noise or program our karts to make noise to sound authentic, they are! Real gas powered karts make real gas powered noises, electric karts are programmed to sound real. It’s the difference between a fast racing kart outside and an electric kart inside. In a nutshell, it’s the difference between authentic and programmed to sound authentic.
